Designed for Gulf Sun: How the UV System Works
Short answer: UV inhibitors are compounded into the polymer during extrusion — not applied as a surface coating — so the protection runs through the whole leaf rather than sitting on its surface.
That distinction decides how a panel behaves in the UAE. A surface coating starts to wear where dust, cleaning and abrasion act first, and the leaf underneath has no protection of its own. Compound-based stabilisation cannot be rubbed off, because there is no separate layer to lose. The UAE combination of extreme summer heat, intense sunlight and airborne dust takes low-grade artificial greenery apart within a single season; our outdoor panels use virgin PE and carry a 3-year outdoor UV-fade warranty for terraces, facades and poolside work in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

UV inhibitors are compounded into the polymer during extrusion rather than sprayed on the surface, so the stabilisation cannot wear off. The panels are tested by SGS for colour fastness under accelerated weathering (4,000 hours) and carry a 3-year outdoor UV-fade warranty.
Can you meet UAE civil-defence requirements?
For our two fire-retardant SKUs we hold EN 13501-1 test documentation and supply it on request, per project. Send the SKU, the emirate and the installation position and we will confirm whether the tested construction matches your specification. We do not publish a Euroclass and we do not hold an ASTM E84 classification.
