Kunstgræs-vægpaneler
En kunstig græsvæg is a wall surface finished with grass-textured artificial foliage — fine blade leaves, dense and uniform, in the greens you see in lawn and meadow rather than in boxwood or fern. It is the finish that reads as “green wall” at a distance and as “grass” på tæt hold, which is why it works for photo backdrops, event walls, balcony screens, and fence cladding where a broadleaf mix would look too ornamental.
Everything on this page is a rigid modular panel, not turf roll. That distinction matters: turf roll is a floor product hung on a wall, and it sags, seams, og kan ikke repareres i sektioner. A panel is grid-backed, interlocks on four edges, and can be lifted out and replaced.
Grass Panels vs Turf Roll vs Hedge Panel
| Grass wall panel | Turf roll | Hedge / boxwood panel | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Struktur | Rigid grid-backed square | Flexible mesh roll | Rigid grid-backed square |
| Look | Fine blades, uniform meadow green | Lawn pile, flat | Broadleaf, lagdelt, tæt |
| On a wall | Holds shape, no sag | Sags between fixings, shows seams | Holds shape, deeper shadow |
| Repair | Replace one panel | Replace the run | Replace one panel |
| Bedst til | Backdrops, fence cladding, balcony screening | Ground cover, temporary draping | Markante vægge, privacy, interiører |
The Grass Designs We Hold
Grass-textured panels are a small part of our range, and that is deliberate — grass is a specific look, not a general-purpose one. The designs we produce:
- G717101A Kunstgræs vægpanel — 50 × 50 cm, straight grass, the workhorse design
- G717202A Outdoor Green Wall — 50 × 50 cm, built for exterior exposure
- G717201A Photo & Eventbaggrund — 50 × 50 cm, dense enough for close-up photography
- G717203A Grass on Fence Privacy Screen — 50 × 50 cm, for fence and boundary work
- G717103B Lucky Grass — 50 × 50 cm, variegated grass mix
- 1M107 Bright Grass and Fern — 100 × 100 cm, grass blended with fern for depth
All 50 × 50 cm designs are ready stock and orderable from a single panel. 100 × 100 cm designs are produced to order from 50 m² per design.
Indoor and Outdoor Grass Walls
Indoor grass walls are the easy case: no UV requirement, 5-year warranty, and the finish is chosen on appearance alone. Outdoor is where specification decides the outcome.
Outdoor grass panels use PE with the UV stabiliser compounded into the granules before extrusion — not applied as a surface coating — and are tested under SGS 4,000-timers UV-eksponering, with a 3-year anti-fade warranty. In high-sun markets such as the Gulf states, Australien, og Middelhavet, tell us the region and we will confirm the grade in writing rather than leave it to a catalogue line.
Grass Wall Fence and Privacy Screening
Fence cladding is the most common outdoor use, and the one buyers get wrong most often. A grass panel fixed to a chain-link or timber fence needs three things beyond the panel itself:
- A flat substrate or a batten frame. Panels fixed directly to wire mesh flex and telegraph the mesh through the foliage.
- Mechanical fixing, not ties alone. Cable ties hold a panel up; screws or clips hold it flat over years of wind.
- An opaque density grade. If the fence is a privacy screen, the panel has to block sightlines, not just suggest greenery.
The grass on fence panel is built for this application, and our privacy screen page covers the wider set of screening options.
Coverage and Panel Count
Four 50 × 50 cm panels cover 1 m². One 100 × 100 cm panel covers 1 m². For a fence run, measure the length and the height you want to clad, multiply, then add 5–10% for cuts at posts and corners.
Worked example: a 12 m fence clad to 1.8 m is 21.6 m², so 87 panels of 50 × 50 cm, plus 8% for posts and edges = 94 panels, rounded up to 96 (eight cartons of 12).
Bestilling
Ready stock ships in 5 working days from one panel. Production runs take 10–15 working days after order and specification approval. Vi tilbyder DDP, FOB, or CIF, and supply a free sample panel so the finish can be checked against a real wall before a bulk order — sample freight is paid by the buyer.
Ofte stillede spørgsmål
Is an artificial grass wall the same as artificial turf?
Nej. Turf is a floor product with a short pile, supplied in rolls. Grass wall panels are wall products — taller foliage, rigid grid backing, sammenføjningskanter, and designed to be seen from the side rather than from above.
Can I use grass panels outdoors all year?
Ja, with an outdoor-grade panel. Ours are UV-stabilised and carry a 3-year anti-fade warranty under full sun. Frost and rain do not damage the PE foliage or the grid backing.
Will it look like plastic up close?
At 30 cm, the difference between a mid-grade and a high-grade panel is obvious; at one metre, less so. Order a sample and judge it at the distance your client will actually see it.
How do I fix panels to a fence?
Screw through the grid into timber, or use clips on a metal frame. On chain-link, fit a batten frame first so the panels sit flat.
Do the panels need maintenance?
Rinse with water once or twice a year. Ingen vanding, gødning, klipning, or replacement of dead planting.
Can grass panels be mixed with other foliage?
Ja, and it usually looks better. Grass as the field with boxwood or fern accents reads more natural than grass alone across a large area.
Hvad er minimumsordren?
1 panel for any 50 × 50 cm ready-stock design, afsendes inden for 5 arbejdsdage. Produktionsordrer starter fra 50 m² pr. design.
Do you supply to distributors and installers?
Yes — importers, distributører, interior landscapers, and project contractors, with mixed-SKU container loading and OEM or private-label packaging on request.
Send the wall or fence dimensions, indendørs eller udendørs, and the destination to [email protected] for a panel count and a delivered price, eller request a free sample. For the wider system, se kunstige grønne vægsystemer.

Grass or another foliage texture?
Grass texture is the most uniform face you can specify: no leaf variation, no colour drift between panels, and a surface that photographs the same way from every angle. That is exactly why it suits backdrops, event walls and long runs on a fence. It is also why it can look flat on a feature wall where the client expects depth.
| Texture | How it reads | Bedst til | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grass | Flat, tæt, uniform green | Photo and event backdrops, fence runs, retail walls repeated across sites | Little visual depth; not the choice for a feature wall meant to look planted |
| Boxwood | Tight rounded leaf, formal | Hedges, boundaries, classic garden look | Reads as clipped topiary — wrong for tropical or wild schemes |
| Fern | Feathered, softer, shaded | Interior walls, shaded courtyards, layered planting look | Busier at distance; more visual noise on long runs |
| Blossom and mixed | Colour accents, varied leaf | Detailhandel, hotel- og restaurationsbranchen, seasonal displays | Pattern is harder to repeat exactly across phased deliveries |
Practical rule: if the wall is a backdrop, a screen or a surface that repeats across several sites, grass gives the most predictable result. If the wall has to read as planting — a lobby feature, a terrace edge, a wall clients will photograph close up — a fern or mixed texture usually carries the intent better. The seven-stem foliage range is what we use to add depth on top of a flat panel, og samlingssiden om kunstige grønne vægge covers the full texture range.
Both can be specified on the same project: a grass field with foliage stems worked into the joints reads as planting without losing the uniform base.
